"Deck Your Halls Party"

Our first big event was a success due to all the great donations we collected and the volunteers that have been helping us over the last 8 months. We were very honored to partner with WomenSafe, Inc. of Geauga County, an organization that helps and supports victims of domestic violence. We hosted a private event party for over 30 adults and 40 children in which they could come and celebrate the beginning of the Christmas Season. The event included, a Christmas Trees lot, Christmas Town Village, ornaments, lights and all the home decor needed to make their Christmas Season a little more magical. The children had an opportunity to shop in our Secret Santa section and then they could wrap those presents with the help of our elves. The children also had the chance to decorate Christmas Cookies and make some beautiful crafts while relaxing in a Christmas Wonderland. Special thanks to Starbucks in Mentor, Pink Bandana Bakery in Mentor and Sunny Street Cafe of Concord for helping to provide the food and beverages. Everyone had the chance to eat lunch and pick out whatever they needed to take with them and give it a new home for Christmas. The big excitement came when Santa himself rolled on in to meet with all the children and of course adults!

Below are some pictures of the event and the hall. Again, as you look at these photos please remember everything you see was donated by gracious individuals like yourselves and given a new home for Christmas!
